Quantity Surveyors - Nuclear

My client seeks Quantity Surveyors at all levels to include Intermediate, Senior and Associate level to work on the civil engineering elements of a nuclear power station in Somerset.

Our client seeks people at all levels and ideally you will have experience of both pre and post contract work, procurement, etc.

You will deal directly with clients.


My client is a successful firm of construction consultants with offices in the UK and abroad.

They work on projects across the U.K. and in Europe.


You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar.

Ideally you will be MRICS, MCIOB or similarly qualified.

You should have worked for any of the following:- Construction Consultants, End user client, Multi disciplinary consultants or a main contractor.

You will have a good understanding of projects from inception through to delivery.

You will need to understand projects all the way through from feasibility, cost planning, contracts tendering, procurement, contract administration, final accounts etc.

Previous experience of nuclear, MOD and similar projects is preferred and you should have worked on civil engineering aspects of large construction projects.

Ideall you will be fully security cleared i.e. DV, SC, BPSS, CTC although this may be organised for you providing you have been working in the UK and have a British passport.

My client seeks candidates who have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), who are enthusiastic and dynamic to deal with challenging projects and demanding clients and able to work without supervision as part of a small team.

My client is happy to take people on a salaried basis with salaries highly negotiable (or a contract basis if preferred).
