Chartered Building Surveyor / Fund Monitor

I am seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join a large firm of consultants in Liverpool.

You will have broad based building surveying experience on both project and professional work.

Some experience of Fund Monitoring is also required.

You will work on projects for a good range of clients working on residential, commercial, and various public sector properties.


Our client is a a large multi disciplinary firm of consultants with offices in the UK and abroad.

They work for clients in the public and private sectors.


You will be a Degree or Diploma qualified Building Surveyor with experience of both project and professional work plus Fund / Project Monitoring.

You will be MRICS or MCIOB.

You will be a high calibre surveyor with a stable work record.

You will have some experience of Enironmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards.

You will have good experience of project delivery and a good understanding of JCT contracts and ideall some knowledge of NEC3 contracts too.

You should be able to manage complex projects and have excellent specification writing skills.

You will have good client facing experience and a track record of working closely with stakeholders.

Experience of contract administration, project management and any experience of professional services useful e.g. dilapidations, bank monitoring, party wall and neighbourly matters advantageous.

You will need to be working for another firm of consultants or end user client.

Good communication skills are essential along with good written and spoken English to produce reports and to present at meetings.
